Church of Gods people, Kigali and three women who have been baptised.

Last week in Kigali, three women from the freedom project made the decision to be baptised. Previously, Pastor John who oversees Bugesera women’s Co-Operative, launched earlier this year had visited the project and delivered some teaching. Whilst others responded on the day, these three women made a choice to show their commitment to Jesus and a changed life through being baptised. Thats a first for us.

It’s so lovely to see the photos of these three women and see the difference the project and being part of the community has made in their lives. We are just about to begin preparations to graduate the ten women on the course this year. If you feel you would like to contribute to help purchase a sewing machine for a woman to take to home and begin a small business that would be amazing.. This will enable them to provide food and pay the rent and generally provide for the families; details below.

This year has been a challenge as we’ve tried to keep the project afloat between ourselves and the local church in Kigali but by Gods Grace, we’ve made it. Another 10 women who have been subjected to such terrible life destroying situations of trauma have been restored. Special thanks to those of you who have helped with this outreach.
