Stories of progress
Last week we had news of the progress the women are making in the Co Operative that was launched earlier this year in Bugesera district by a local Church. The women are making new garments to sell and doing repairs for the local community around them. This is all helping to generate an income for each woman as they come and take the opportunity to make a future for themselves and their children.
As part of their continued personal development they have begun a weekly devotion time. Here they can take time to reflect and get some fresh input to recharge themselves in God. Those of us who have been walking with God for some time know that without recharging ourselves we can do very little but with God we can gain strength and desire to keep moving forward.
Please do keep praying for the women as they have come from very broken backgrounds they can be very fragile and get discouraged easily. Pray they keep having success in all they turn their hand too.
Enjoy reading this amazing story of change.
Jocelyne’s story
Jocelyne with her three children used to spend 2-3 days without food but after completing her sewing machine training she now has access to the machine, thanks to the co operative starting. She is able to make some clothes and get some money to buy food for her family. If that was not enough she is now able to make clothes for her children and now they look smart so when they go to school other children no longer belittle them and insult them as they used too. God bless you and thank you for helping her.
