Joy Bringers
We have been connected to Pastor Daniel in Nepal for sometime, sharing messages of hope from time to time with an online ministry he runs each week. His heart is to reach remote areas of Nepal by going deep in the hills for missions to share the love of God. Recently whilst he was away on such a mission he came across a dire situation where both parents had died suddenly leaving fifteen children alone. The local Church there is very small and often overwhelmed by the issues of the daily problems people face, despite this the Church have helped to comfort the family and bring hope back to them.
As he told me the story my heart went out to the those left and I felt God nudge me that we could support a one off gift for some clothes to bought and food for the family whilst Daniel could get alongside them and help them in their grief. I also felt we could support the local Church by gifting them Bibles so discipleship could happen through people coming together to explore the Bible together and see what Jesus says about everyday situations. We sent Pastor Daniel on this mission to be a bringer of joy to the area.
As Mission on the Move we personally can’t always go but we can send others to fulfil their callings. It has been our pleasure to do so in this circumstance facilitating others to be joy bringers in simple ways. This is the gospel of Jesus in action.
Thank you to those who have made this possible.
