Blankets in India
This December we have completed our sixth leaders training day into southern India. These days enable the more rural Church leaders both men and women to come together learn, ask questions and share food. Many leaders have had no formal training but are just getting on with the job in hand. Whilst they are doing a great they have lots of questions the Bible and then how to practically do things. These training days are great value to them and we appreciate Pastor G for hosting and organising the days.
Through this connection with Pastor G we have over the last year been able to practically help people the leaders come across who are in great need. Being able to do something practical shows the love of God rather than speaking it. Both are good to do in practise.
This Christmas time we have been able to distribute blankets distributed to 52 children. The nights gets cold this time of year, quite hard to imagine but a simple present of a blanket can make all the difference to a child. Many of the children are living with their families in challenging situations in rural locations, whilst we can’t help everyone we can stop for the ones God puts in front of us.
Thank you to those who have made this possible.
