Freedom is Fruitful

This month the lovely women in the freedom course, Kigali have continued their training and are doing really well. We have been able to send them some finance to get discipleship books printed so each woman can have one. Some of them are not able to read so they are learning to read through the discipleship book as well as learning about God which is just wonderful,

Being able to read is a vital skill set for them going forward in life and running their small businesses once they have finished the course. I’ve been able to zoom into the project this week and bring some teaching on the importance of keeping the vision of our future as a priority whilst we are preparing ourselves for the future.

These women face many challenges as they train including feeling drawn to go back to their old lifestyle. They being enticed back through lack of money, peer pressure from those around them or just stepping back into new old habits. One lady on the course has kindly shared her story. When I watched the story I was so moved, I realised once again these women have passed through so much trauma and heartache and that this program is so precious as it is has been and keeps being so life giving to many. Right from reaching the women to bringing them out of exploitation and the things, that go on when you’re in that lifestyle.

Thank you so much for those of you who give regularly to help with this wonderful work we appreciate you and pray with us that God will bring more people alongside to support this particular ministry. Pray those who feel life is too hard and who feel they have been forgotten and rejected, pray God will touch their hearts and restore their lives.

The Freedom course is run by the Church of God’s people in Kigali and we are thankful to journey alongside them to see women set free.
